Alternative Photography

Alternative Photography is refers to non-traditional, often historical methods of printing photographs. the method that was used to create the above images is called Cyanotype. This is 19th-century camera-less photographic printing process that produces cyan-blue, monochrome prints using iron salts,UV light {sunlight} and water. The reason for using this process  is due to the fact that it safer for the environment.

This project is called “The Cost of Progression” this is an artwork that is close to my heart.

This project is about the negative effect of humans on the natural world. This project uses environmentally friendly camarillas process to create art called “Cyanotype”.

My project focuses on the global worming effects on a local area of North Ayrshire. I chose this location as it is where I lived all my life. In varies locations within North Ayrshire.

This has allowed me to notices the changes that small towns are facing due to consumerism from loss of high road to the consumer waste polluting the area.
